
Ingredients
- 1 Welsh beef sirloin steak
- 75g rice
- Thumb of ginger
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbpsn sesame oil
- 2 tbspn light soy sauce
- 1 tspn brown sugar
- 1 spring onion
- Half tspn sesame seeds
- 1 egg
- 1 carrot
- ½ cucumber
- 1 tbspn white wine vinegar
- 1 tbspn crispy chilli oil
- Garnishes;
- Half a red chilli
- 1 spring onion
- Lime
- 1 tbspn kimchi
- ½ avocado
- 50g edamame beans

- Mix the sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, spring onion, brown sugar and sesame seeds, cover the steak and set aside to marinade
- Finely slice the cucumber and carrot and mix with the white wine vinegar and crispy chilli oil
- Put your rice on to cook according to packet instructions
- Grill the steak to your liking and set aside to rest
- Boil the egg for 7 minutes and then run under cold water to prevent further cooking
- In a serving bowl, layer the steak on top of the rice and add the avocado, kimchi, cucumber and carrot pickle, soft boiled egg, edamame beans, spring onion and chilli
