- Dry fry the mince, until brown
- Add the onion and garlic and fry for 2 minutes
- Add the herbs, black pepper, passata, carrots and stock and mix well, bring to the boil
- Break in the lasagne sheets and stir well
- Place the lid on the pan and simmer for 20 minutes
- Remove the lid and place the mozzarella slices on the top
- Place in a hot oven or under the grill until the cheese has softened
- Serve scattered with basil leaves and grated cheddar cheese (optional)
- Delicious with garlic bread and salad
