Welsh Beef 30-minute one pan lasagne

Ingredients

  • 450g Welsh Beef mince
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 700g passata
  • 100ml beef stock
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • Black pepper
  • 6 lasagne sheets
  • 1 ball mozzarella sliced
  • Basil
  • Grated cheddar cheese (optional)

Serves
  1. Dry fry the mince, until brown
  2. Add the onion and garlic and fry for 2 minutes
  3. Add the herbs, black pepper, passata, carrots and stock and mix well, bring to the boil
  4. Break in the lasagne sheets and stir well
  5. Place the lid on the pan and simmer for 20 minutes
  6. Remove the lid and place the mozzarella slices on the top
  7. Place in a hot oven or under the grill until the cheese has softened
  8. Serve scattered with basil leaves and grated cheddar cheese (optional)
  9. Delicious with garlic bread and salad
