To celebrate this year’s Love Lamb Week (1 – 7 September), our resident Lambassador Chris ‘Flamebaster’ Roberts has teamed up with pal and fellow foodie Lee Tiernan from London’s Black Axe Mangal restaurant to create a series of exclusive new video recipes.
The well-known Highbury restaurant – lovingly shortened to BAM by those in the know – takes its inspiration from the Turkish mangal grill style of cooking and has developed a name for itself by offering bold, punchy and adventurous cuisine that doesn’t take any prisoners.
Filmed in the heart of Snowdonia, Lee and Chris share insider cookery tips with each other as they create four lip-smacking, heart-racing, fiery recipes that feature Welsh Lamb like you’ve never seen it before.
But don’t worry, you can re-create these recipes at home without a firepit or ‘plancha’ – any hot indoor griddle or BBQ will do.
So get ready to turn up the flavour this Love Lamb Week as you experience nose to tail cooking with a no holds barred attitude.
