Welsh Lamb Kebabs with Chinese BBQ Sauce


  1. In a bowl mix lean lamb leg steak cubes with oil, lime juice and rind and five spice. Mix well, cover and refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes.
  2. Thread the lamb cubes onto skewers and barbecue or grill for approximately 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  3. Make Chinese BBQ Sauce: In a small saucepan mix together garlic clove, soy sauce, mango and orange juice, Chinese five spice and star anise, and thoroughly boil. Serve as a drizzling sauce for the kebabs.
  4. Serve kebabs with coconut rice and Chinese stir-fried vegetables.
