- Take the beef joint out of the fridge 30 minutes prior to cooking.
- Mix together 1 tbsp of the oil, salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary and garlic granules .
- Use the remaining oil to coat the beef, ensuring all surfaces are covered.
- Cover the top with the herb paste.
- Place the beef in the basket.
- Pre heat the air fryer to 200 oC.
- Cook the beef for 15 minutes to crisp the surface, reduce the heat to 170 oC and cook for remaining time 15-17 minutes per 500g.
- If using a temperature probe cook:Rare 48 – 52 oCMedium Rare 55-59 oC Medium 60-66 oC Well done 67-71 oC.
- When cooked to your liking remove from the air fryer and loosely covered with foil and rest for at least 15 minutes before carving.
