Specific Rules

1. The Rural Retreats Competition (‘Competition’) is organised by Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Competition will run from 25^th January 2026 to 2^nd February 2026 on PGI Welsh Lamb’s Instagram account. HCC is the Promoter, The ‘Promotion Partner’ mentioned in these Specific Rules is Newlands Rural Retreats and the ‘Prize Provider’ is Newlands Rural Retreats.
2. IMPORTANT: The Competition is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Competition Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Competition constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

4. Entry will open at 08:00 on Sunday 25^th January 2026 and close at 12:00 on Monday 2^nd February 2026. Entries received after this time will not be included.
5. Bulk, automated, machine assisted, third party, syndicate or other group entries are prohibited and we will disqualify any entries (and withhold or reclaim any associated prize from you) which, in our reasonable opinion, appear to have used any of these entry methods or, for example (without limitation), entries or votes that have been made from the same IP address, email address, postal address, telephone number, or similar or entries which we, at our sole discretion but acting reasonably, consider to be suspicious or fraudulent.
6. Within 48 hours of the closing time of the Competition, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. One correct entry will be selected at random and the winning entrant will be contacted via the platform they entered on. If such winner does not respond within 48 hours of being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw. That subsequent winner must respond to the notification message within 48 hours of the date on which they are notified, or they will also forfeit the prize.
7. We and the prize provider may publish and publicise your name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your association with the Competition and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Competition.

Eligibility:

8. The Competition is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry.

Prize:

9. One winning entrant will receive a 2-night stay for 2-people in a luxury holiday let in Guilsfield near Welshpool, Powys. The prize providers will also provide a joint of PGI Welsh Lamb to be enjoyed during your stay.
10. The prize provider, Newlands Rural Retreats, will contact the winner to arrange a suitable date for their 2-night stay.

ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION TERMS & CONDITIONS

11.1. Your stay is subject to availability at the discretion of Newlands Rural Retreats.

11.2. You will be staying in a self-catering, luxury holiday let comprising of a Super King bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, open-plan living area with TV and electric fire and your own private hot tub. Pets are also welcome. Subject to availability.

11.3. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

11.4. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, travel is not included within the prize.

11.5. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable

11.6. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

12. Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us and our Promotion Partner / prize providers.
13. By entering a Competition, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Competition will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy (https://eatwelshlambandwelshbeef.com/privacy-policy/ ) which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy before entering any Competition. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Competition, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us and our Promotion Partner with their personal data.
