The story behind the food

To get a sense of the love and passion that goes into producing PGI Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef, we visited Katie Davies at her hill farm in Nantymoel to learn more about what farming means to her.

Our farmers are crucial to the vibrancy and prosperity of rural communities, along with playing an important role in maintaining the environment and our beautiful landscapes.

Rather than just an ordinary job, farming is a way of life that the likes of Katie fully immerse themselves in, with every ounce of their passion and commitment helping create the premium quality Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef that’s the envy of the world.
