Recipe inspiration for Love Lamb Week

As today marks the start of Love Lamb Week (1st - 7th September) and now being the perfect time to buy Welsh Lamb, we are recommending a couple of recipes for each night this week so you can properly celebrate top quality lamb with some delightful dishes.

Friday night fakeaway
Who needs a takeaway on Friday when you can have a fakeaway? Costs half as much and tastes twice as good! Get your Love Lamb Week started with Harissa Welsh Lamb Koftas, a great alternative to kebabs or a Fruity Welsh Lamb curry with Christmas spices and mango, both brilliant dishes that are much healthier and tastier than a takeaway.

Saturday night fever
Mini Welsh Lamb Crowns Mojitos Style both look amazing and taste even better. Perfect if you’ve got guests over, or you just want to try something spectacular! If you want something slightly more rustic and still tastes fantastic, try this Welsh Lamb and Pumpkin Pie recipe. Bound to be a crowd pleaser.

Sunday roast
Take your Sunday Roast to the next level with these two recipes. Grab a boneless leg of Welsh Lamb and stuff it with Caerphilly cheese, garlic & herbs for a beautiful centrepiece to your Sunday lunch. Or if you prefer a more traditional approach, try a classic combination Spring Minted Leg of Welsh Lamb.

Monday motivation
For after work on Monday, you want a quick and easy (and delicious!) meal. These Welsh Lamb cutlets stuffed with Manchego cheese are bound to give you motivation to get through those Monday blues! Or if you prefer something a bit more hearty, try this oven baked Welsh Lamb Risotto with summer vegetables and fresh herbs, bound to be a winner.

Quick and easy Tuesday
Another fast, filling and tasty recipe is this Welsh Lamb Biryani, perfect to spice up your Tuesday night. Serve with naans and poppadoms for a proper curry night. Or if you are not in the mood for something spicy, try these Chinese Welsh Lamb bubble and squeak cakes, perfect dipped in hoisin sauce.

Hump day rump day (or ‘Wednesday’!)
Wednesday is sometimes referred to as ‘Hump day’, but we think it should be ‘Rump day’! To celebrate make a Welsh Lamb rump steak au poivre or add some Goats cheese and make your make your mid-week special. Both work perfectly with chunky chips, wedges or mash.

To finish off the perfect Welsh Lamb week, we’ve got two brilliant, quick recipes, ideal for after work. Stuff Welsh Lamb chops with halloumi and pesto and pair them with hummous, olives and lemon for a delicious dinner. Or if you want something even easier to round off your Love Lamb Week, try a fruity Welsh Lamb stir fry that you can make with a leftover smoothie.
