PGI Welsh Lamb and a taste of the good life…

This summer we visited many events, festivals and supermarkets, showcasing the best of Welsh Lamb and most importantly of all, meeting many of you along the way.

An undoubted highlight of the schedule was a visit to The Good Life Experience festival in Hawarden, Flintshire. In glorious sunshine we caught up with the festival organiser and Welsh music legend Cerys Matthews to discuss her passion for locally sourced, seasonal food and the amazing recipes that can be made without costing the earth.

Watch our video to learn more about how she delighted the crowd with a classic dish - Welsh Lamb cawl cooked over a fire pit - while sharing some of the stories that feature in her brand new cookbook.
