Perfect recipes for Valentine’s Day

If you missed St. Dwynwen's Day, then don’t fear, you still have Valentine’s Day to redeem yourself! They say the way to a person's heart is through the stomach, and we are big believers in that! If you’re looking to impress a special someone this Valentine’s Day, we have a fantastic selection of recipes bound to endear.


The steaks are high

To really impress this year, why not go all out with a delicious steak. We’ve got the perfect recipes for a Welsh Lamb or a Welsh Beef steak, but as the French are often renowned as the master romancers, why not try a French Welsh Lamb leg steak au poivre?

This griddled Welsh T-Bone Steak is bound to melt the heart when served with tomato olive and watercress butter.

Worth the effort


These next few recipes are for the more confident chefs, they’ll take a bit of time and effort. But the recipient will be sure to appreciate the endeavor. This Welsh Lamb Shank with soft Polenta and Persian Lime Pesto comes from Llambassador Anna Hansen and will need a couple of hours to perfect.

This Rack of Welsh Lamb from Francesco Mazzei both looks spectacular and will taste phenomenal, sure to impress. The dish takes a bit of time, but is worth the endeavour.

Everyone loves chocolate, and this fantastic chunky Welsh Beef chilli with chorizo, orange and chocolate is sure to melt the heart!
